  1. Nolan’s Commitment to Your Privacy Consent. Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this Privacy Policy, which explains our online information gathering and dissemination practices. This Policy may be revised from time to time, so please revisit this page to remain fully informed of our commitment. Your provision of Personal Information to us indicates your consent to this Privacy Policy as modified from time to time. If you have questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact Nolan Real Estate Services at the e-mail address provided at the end of this Privacy Policy.

  2. The Information We Collect. We collect a limited amount of personal information from you in certain areas of the Nolan Real Estate Services website (nolanrealestate.com) (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected on or submitted to the Site (“Personal Information”). On some pages, you can submit applications for employment and resumes. The types of Personal Information collected at these pages may include:

    • Name, address, e-mail address, phone number, gender, social security number, date of birth, prior work information, educational background and citizenship information

Also, please be aware of the following:

    • Cookies.Cookies are small items of data that some websites either write to your hard drive upon your visit to their site(s) or store in the browser. These data files contain information the site can use to organize the pages you have visited on a particular website. The use of cookies has become a standard in the industry, especially at websites that provide any kind of personalized service. Our Site may use “cookie” technology to measure site activity and tailor information to fit your personal interests. In this way, we can deliver tailor-made information suiting your personal interests upon your next visit to our Site. Our use of “cookie” technology is, thus, to provide you with a more individualized delivery of information and an optimal viewing experience. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can usually set your browsers to refuse cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent. If you refuse cookies, you may not be able to use some of the functionality of the Site. Third party links may also use cookies in connection with the services and websites to which the Site links. We do not control these cookies.

    • Pixel Tags.We may use “pixel tags,” which are small graphic files that allow us to monitor the use of the Site (for the purposes of system administration, to assess the traffic to the Site, to report aggregate information to our advertisers and to maintain and improve the Site). A pixel tag can collect information such as the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the computer that downloaded the page on which the tag appears; the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) of the page on which the pixel tag appears; the time the page containing the pixel tag was viewed; the type of browser and/or type of computer that fetched the pixel tag; and the identification number of any cookie (please see “Cookies” above) on the computer previously placed by that server. When corresponding with you via HTML capable e-mail, we may use “format sensing” technology, which allows pixel tags to let us know whether you received and opened our e-mail. Nolan does not link IP addresses to your personally identifiable information. We can and will use IP addresses, however, to identify a user when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our Website Usage Policy or to protect our service, the Site, customers or others.

  3. Who is Collecting this Information. Nolan Real Estate Services, Inc. (“Nolan”; also referred to as “us” or “we”) collects the information described above via the Site. In the case of third party features such as advertising, co-branded areas or links to other websites, such third parties may also collect information. You should review the applicable privacy policies of these third parties before providing personally identifiable information. Nolan is not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties.

  4. How Collected Information is Used. We will not knowingly disclose or authorize the disclosure of personal identifiable information to any third party without your consent unless (a) we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may have breached our Website Usage Policy or who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) Nolan’s rights or property, other Site users, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities, or (b) we believe in good faith that the law requires it.

  5. We may, with your prior permission, use the content of your submissions on our Site for promotional or marketing purposes.

We may use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and share with our advertising agencies. For example, we may tell an advertising agency that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our Site, or that Y number of men and Z number of women registered on our Site, but we would not disclose your Personal Information or anything that could be used to personally identify those individuals.

If you choose to register or receive products or materials from us, or to otherwise give us Personal Information, we may store some or all of that personal information and use it for Nolan’s internal marketing research and marketing purposes.

We may use your e-mail address to communicate with you, for example, to notify you of special offers or programs you might find of interest or to contact you regarding a job application that you have submitted. We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. We may also use these e-mail addresses to respond to queries.

Finally, we never use or share Personal Information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

  6. Links to Third Party Websites. Our Site may offer links to other non-Nolan websites which may have information policies and practices different from ours. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy policies, practices, content or other actions of any third party websites. You should review the applicable privacy policies of these third party sites before providing personally identifiable information.

As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us. Once we receive your information, we take appropriate steps that we believe are reasonable to protect the security of your data on our system, both internally and from outsiders, and to ensure the integrity of the data we collect.
